Well it's a miserable wet day so I have had a look at the large Betfair football shortlist I made from the coupon...

Macclesfield v Woking

This looks a good value trade at the current price around 4 to LTD.

Good home form, annihilating everyone except well-ranked Lincoln. Goal stats are good, could be better, but definitely good. And at the reasonable LTD price, this is a trade for me.

Carlisle

Looks a tempter at the cheeky price of 3.75, but the stats are not good enough for me despite the reduced risk, so I am leaving that one.

I would often trade this type of game at this price, but for now I am sticking to the very best I can find as far as stats go.

Bolton V Southend

This looks good, but not quite good enough to call it a strong trade. The league positions certainly look good, but the goal scoring times worry me slightly.

I would be laying the draw at 20-30 minutes if 0-0, if I trade it at all. A watch of the game would help me decide. The key to sports trading is being able to say no, more than you say yes! That applies regardless of the betting strategy you're using, discipline is more important than the strategy itself.
